A friend of mine when he was just starting out with his MLM company decided to make his name carved in the history of marketing industry. He started his own website and produced his articles like crazy. He was really frustrated because despite of his efforts his website just did not want to show up in Google even is he searched for his exact domain name.

It took about one or two weeks for his static website to get indexed. Why did it happen that way? Google doesn’t really seem to like html sites. Whether it does or not but blogs have some really cool features that may even well written html sites don’t  have and all of these functions are fully automated like when two really great neighbors are chit chatting with each other.

If you start a plain new blog and you make a post on it you don’t need more than 15 minutes to get indexed and start getting traffic to your site. The function is called Pinging but I’ll cover that in one of my later posts. You only need to understand the power of having  a blog instead of a static website.

Your blog automatically send information to Google as soon as you make  a new blog post. You can rank with relevant posts incredibly fast if your content is relevant and you use the right keywords for your topic. Anyway the fact is that Google loves blogs although there are some advices you should stick to.

You would never want to have an “Newgreatmarketer.blogger.com” kind of blog. That just doesn’t seem professional and Google will favor a blog hosted with a purchased domain name. Having  a self hosted blog gives you some great advantages. First is that you own your blog and no one can tell you what to do with it, what content you should have. You don’t have to be afraid of getting your whole account deleted on a whim of your blog service provider.

You can configure and customize your own blog to the extremes from the first to the last pixel. You can decide on which plugins you use and what kind of links you want to have on your site. There will be no advetisments unless you put some onto your site. How great is it?

Your blog can and will be the central nexus point of your whole marketing so you definitely want to have a wordpress blog. It has the most support and functions a blog can have and you can install it with one click. You don’t have to be a techie guy to handle that task.

An other cool stuff about a blog is that not only Google loves it but People do love as well. Believe it or not people do come back, subscribe and look around for some new information. They see the other possibilities to contact you. They add you on facebook, twitter doing  a proper research on you without you noticing it.

No other media is able to handle the task of getting people know you this much. You may come to the question people always ask me when I talk of the importance having an own blog. You can have it for as much as 5 dollar per month but I pay $8 because I have multiple domains.

I know this information can be overwhelming at first but take your time and read it again. If you have serious plans with your blog you should learn how to build up the traffic to it. There is a great source for you to learn all that for free. You will get advertisements from this guy but the only thing you want from there is this great book.

Thank God we are all different with different talents which we can use in our marketing strategies. To decide on one marketing method first you should evaluate yourself  to decide which marketing method you can use to produce the highest quality content with. The most basic skills and skill set you should utilize to design your marketing campaign is the following ones:

• Your passion about something
• Decent grammar, word of use
• Some skills for making a video
• Proper keyword research
• Distribution of your content.

I suppose you already have something you are really passionate since you have ended up on my marketing resource blog where you can develop your skills to powerfully market your business so let’s  tick this one.

As a business owner or at least for successfully representing  yourself to be knowledgeable you build trust through the way you connect with people be it article, other content or video marketing. You must use proper grammar because it seriously affects your business and credibility.  You can even outsource the writing part to focus more on what you are really good at.

I believe anyone can make videos. Nothing ever will represent you more and has more effect on people than your own voice. I have seen videos using text to speech software and it was awful to listen to. Don’t ever do that even if you are shy. You should expect some time to go by until you get good at speaking. There are many options for you if you are shy before a camera or have no such recording equipment at all.I have seen many of the top marketers doing only PowerPoint presentations or simply recording their screen or blog in the background and that the way I do my videos too and they are working pretty well.

The best online marketing method (are you prepared?) is always the one you pick up no matter what it is and you put consistent effort into it. Many marketers jump on trendy methods after purchasing a CD or DVD course on it and after getting no results in several days they just jump on the next one. That is the most blatant mistake 97% of the online marketers make and that is why they leave the scene before they even could get into profit.

No matter what you do, become really good at it. Mastering one marketing method, having it as your second nature will attract people. You have to build confidence and this confidence will show up in everything you produce. Never be in ahassle and use your time to refine your skills no matter how much time you need for it.

After you have chosen your marketing strategy you have to make some strategic steps every time you create an info product with that method either if its content,article or video marketing method. That will be the keyword research which is often underestimated by the majority of the marketers.

Let me tell you how your info product will feel after distributed with no or poorly done keyword research: Very very lonely! No one will find it. Internet marketing become a highly competitive field and you can be sure that if you are competing with short keywords you will left out of the GAME called business.

Let me just briefly touch the last point because I’ll have most of my efforts focused on this topic in my upcoming training. Distribution of your content is really the key to dominate every niche you step into. If I was to describe the power and the goal of distribution your content the right way in two words those would be: BE EVERYWHERE!

Never forget that your success never depends on what your product is not even what are you telling people about it. It depend on how much influence you have on people.

Your success in any MLM greatly depends on how effectively your group can learn and implement the strategies you used. You can’t become a real leader unless you teach and lead others to achieve their goals too. The more quality you provide the bigger their motivation grows by time.

Some gurus happen to have the bad habit of retain some of their techniques from people they teach. It may be a human nature but if you are greedy and you don’t share every bit of information with your group you literally hold yourself back from your desired goals. It’s just that simple.

The power of MLM is in these rules. More than 80% of your income will come from only very few members who you were able to teach the most. Some of the people in your group will not want to keep in touch with you every day. We are different. Some likes written materials more than consultation or training through webinars.  It’s up to you to provide opportunity them to learn your knowledge in more than one ways.

You must clear your mind out of the misconception that MLM is about quick money. You must learn how to give instead of taking advantage on people. Most of our unconscious actions happen to backfire when we already managing out teams. The retention of information I mentioned causes a lot of mistrust. That mistrust will effect your progress becoming  a true leader in many ways. It hurts the level of direct communication with your team, the efficiency you transfer your goals and ideas to them and also have negative effect on the way they will behave towards their own team as well.

Building long lasting trustworthy relationships with your leads and even after they became your own team is a skill-set on it’s own which you have to master as soon as possible. Nurturing your relationships will build a two way communication channel and soon you will be amazed how much you will be able to learn by forming your own mastermind team with them.

Don’t fell for the fluff telling you “do this strategy after buying my stuff and you will be successful” because you have steps to go through on the way in your MLM business. Stop over spending and concentrate the stage you are on right now. Learn how to connect with people and how to help solving their problems. That’s the key for building personal relationships you can profit from again and again.

So what’s the trick? When you are planning for long term you must put all your effort into the quality even if you are at traffic building, converting visitors into leads or team building phase. You must always be laser focused so quality will  mark all your actions in your online marketing.
