When you plan to blog to promote yourself or your business you should treat blogging as a serious money making activity.
Many marketers start blogs and after making some posts which may are keyword rich but they soon reach the writer block or just watch traffic to come. It’s wise not to forget that blogging is a two way communication channel and it’s not just for shouting our thoughts into the void.
With every business and traffic generation activity it’s your work and effort which gets rewarded so one who is serious about blogging must keep their activity constant and on high value.
The only way to communicate your ideas and keep your readers entertained is generating living and useful content which both you and your reader benefits from.
Although some blogger understands that despite of their efforts they reach that writers block from time to time. That’s when you must have plan B in your pocket and know where to search ideas for your content. There are numerous free ways to do some brainstorming.
If you are familiar with article marketing or any kind of content marketing you already get what I mean. Go and look around in article directories. Within a couple of minutes you will be ready with new ideas just by reading some articles and twisting the information and presenting it in your own way. That’s how even if you had an outside source the content will be still original because you had your personal touch on it.
Its really important to develop your own style how you connect with your readers. You can’t reach that level until you try out yourself in blogging. Many marketers don’t even start blogging because they want a pretty and shiny blog before they start posting. They forget that the driving force and the most important element of blogs are the content. That what drives search engines and people reading your blog. They search for content, solutions connection with those who are in the pulse of network marketing.
There is no better time if you want to get involved in blogging then the now. If article directories would not enough to get things going I will arm you with some other really good source of information.
It may not evident for some but you are a great source of content yourself.
Write about your observations you had throughout the day. You can do that even without making your blog off topic. Choose wisely so it will be beneficial. I meet with new people on social network sites and they providing content even without knowing of it.
Share your thoughts on products, marketing, experience because people love stories. This is a good way to connect with your readers even more.
How to-s and tutorials. I can’t tell how much your readers would love if you do that. Who just starts out with network marketing can learn the most and also looks for this kind of information. How to use programs, how to generate more traffic and leads, how to close the sale, how to promote, how to develop to be a leader. These are excellent topics to make how to-s on.
Interviews. I know its not for beginners but after you will be able to generate some traffic using my techniques I teach it won’t take long for you to be on a stable ground to be able to negotiate and ask for interviews with affiliate product creators, big names in industry, service providers. Who would not want to give an interview to someone who has around 10k visitors per month not to mention the steady growth of that traffic.
Also a great way to get info and explosure is youtube. I rarely see marketers using this powerful technique. After every or every few post you make, shoot a short video about your blog post and upload it on your youtube account. Fill it with some relevant keywords and description and make a clickable link back to your blog post. Also embed your video in the blog post to get linked back to youtube.
Not only the ranking of your post and blog will get higher in the search engines but you will get targeted traffic from youtube which is the 3rd most visited site on the internet.
